Nationwide — Nick Cannon sometimes struggles to remember all 12 of his children’s names. During a recent podcast, he tried naming his kids but missed two. The TV host shares his children with six different women and joked about having a “king complex” for fathering so many kids.
On June 19, Nick appeared on Bobbi Althoff’s Really Good podcast. When asked to name all his children, he confidently listed ten names but got stuck before finishing.
“I know all of them, but like, here we go. I’ll lay them all out for you. Keep me honest. There’s Roc, Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen, and … see, this is where … How many [are left?]” Nick said, according to US Magazine.
Bobbi gently pointed out that he missed two names. Nick, who earlier admitted he usually gets “in trouble” for this, laughed it off.
Nick has a big family: twins Moroccan and Monroe, 14, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon, 8, and Rise Messiah, 2, and daughter Powerful Queen, 4, with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion, 4, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 2, with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary Love, 2, with Bre Tiesi; Onyx Ice, 2, with LaNisha Cole; and daughter Halo, 2, with Alyssa Scott. He also shared son Zen with Alyssa, who died at 5 months old in 2021 from brain cancer.
The hosts talked about why Nick has so many kids. He joked, “I have a king complex,” saying kings usually have many children. Nick also opened up about co-parenting, thanking his partners for their support in managing the big family.
Though some criticize him for having so many kids, Nick said he’s “not done” and leaves the rest up to fate. Despite the challenges, he says he hasn’t missed any birthdays or births.
